Brown University Olney-Margolies Athletic Center

For Brown University’s Olney-Margolies Athletic Center (OMAC), which originally opened in 1981, we designed a complete renovation, bringing what had been an outdated facility up to contemporary standards. Guided by history and tradition, we transformed OMAC into a showcase football and training facility with state-of-the-art environments that supports athletic excellence and teamwork.

Enhanced transparency invites natural light to the building, reconceived pathways welcome all members of the Brown community, and new gathering spaces foster interaction amongst all student-athletes and teams. Brown’s unique identity as an institution is integrated within all facets of the project, enabling OMAC to fully support Brown’s student-athletes in their pursuit of personal growth, leadership, and achievement for the mind, body, spirit.
