Liz Claiborne Showroom
When Isaac Mizrahi took over as creative director for the American fashion label Liz Claiborne, 1100 Architect was hired to design a clothing and accessories showroom that reflected the brand’s reinvention and fresh identity. To maximize the amount of natural light that enters the space, the showroom was designed as an open, loft-like space partitioned by custom-designed sheer curtains, which run on a system of suspended tracks, allowing the space to be flexibly reconfigured to display an array of products. These curtains create distinct spaces within the showroom while allowing natural light to pass through them, creating an inviting, bright, and contemporary retail environment.
